21:24:20 [MikeS] I think I may have ridden the monorail into EPCOT at night...probably dusk.
21:24:28 [Moley] It is to cut down on the noise from humans so that the nocturnal animals won't get skittish.
21:24:33 [Travis] i like to watch the water parade from our room or on the beach at the grand floridian
21:25:07 [Moley] At night, you have less competition from kids for the front seat in the monorail.
21:25:26 [AndyL] water pagent isn't too shabby watch fron ft wilderness either
21:25:27 [Moley] At Christmas, you go right through the lighted bridge. It is breathtaking.
21:26:03 [Moley] I love the water pageant. Still one of the unsung treasures of the resort.

21:35:11 [BetsyAnn] I think Epcot looks just beautiful after dark - especially at Christmas time
21:35:24 [Moley] We like to take in a movie. Those theaters are so comfy.

21:41:29 [MikeS] Another nighttime thing I like doing is sitting on a swing at the Polynesian Beach and watching the MK fireworks.

21:41:46 [Moley] Yes, that is the best free thing you can do, Mike.
21:42:06 [Moley] Another ride at night that is great is the Tomorrowland Transportation Authority.
21:42:07 [BetsyAnn] Splash is different at night too!
21:42:18 [MikeS] DW loves riding the TTA at night...especially during those hot summer nights.
21:42:23 [Moley] Astro Orbiter is fun, as is Splash.
21:42:47 [Moley] And the Haunted Mansion is so much spookier when you go at night.
21:42:55 [BetsyAnn] I did Astro Orbiter at night - Loved it - hate it during the day

21:49:50 [BetsyAnn] Oh - I agree that is a trouble move on Disney's part - Future World has great thing at night other than the shops

21:51:17 [Moley] MGM is fun right at closing, too, if you choose to skip Fantasmic for a few rides.
21:51:47 [Moley] You can get in two or three rides on the Tower in the last half hour.

21:52:30 [MikeS] I can remember in the early 90's walking near TGMR at night and hearing a very elegant "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" over the PA.

21:52:50 [Moley] Fantasmic is the biggie and is very much worth a wait or buying a dinner package to avoid a long wait.

21:56:55 [BetsyAnn] LOL - I understand that Moley -- you can do the dessert buffet thing at DL - but there is so much atmosphere on the street that it is fun -- We always meet stake out or claim then sent runners for food!
21:57:07 [Moley] Mike rightly pointed out that Animal Kingdom closes at dark. But you can always hop over to the AK Lodge where some tranquil activities await.
