Woke
up around 7:30 and got ready for the
parks. We caught the monorail around 8:30 and were quickly in
line at the MK. We hit Fantasyland first, but only did Dumbo
and
Peter Pan before the girls wanted to head over to Frontierland and get
some Splash Mountain fastpasses and jump on Big Thunder Mountain.
Now,
Fantasyland was quickly pretty busy.
But Frontierland
and
Adventureland were pretty empty when we arrived. Big Thunder
was
still a walkon , and so was Pirates and Aladdin. We decided
to
use our Splash Mountain fast passes after lunch and just before we
headed back to the room. Hate to be in the parks all wet...
We
took it slow,
and the girls did Big Thunder a second time while
Kristen and I sat in the shade on a bench
and people watched until they
were done. Always fun. :-) We chatted
with a nice
lady also waiting for her family. Soon they were
back and it
was
onward. I'm still feeling pretty poorly so I'm going real
slow
today.
Eventually, we headed to the Plaza for our lunch reservation that I
THOUGHT was at 11am. But
was really at 12:05. But
were were
early enough that they could switch it for us. Lunch was very
good as always, and the dessert WAY too big. That brownie
sundae
is hugemongous - share if at all possible!!!
After
that we wandered a bit and stopped at
the Hall of Presidents to
watch the updated show. Kristen always likes this one and I
never
turn down air conditioning. ;-) Then it was back to
Splash
for our Fast Pass (a bit late) and Brinn was still nervous
but
went with only a little complaining. Fast Pass was awesome
for
this ride. We must have walked past 500 people in line.

After that everyone was
ready to return. I needed to lay down
(stupid cold) and the girls wanted to hit the pool. I slept a
good solid two+ hours while they swam, got rained out and then headed
to the communiity center to play games and make several free bracelets
and things. They had lots of fun and eventually got some more
pool time.
<<- This picture of the lake beyond the BLT pool area is
an important safety reminder! that vulture looking bird USED
to be a swan. So obey posted warnings!!! ;-)
